V&R is an Athens-based boutique law firm with an international clientele and a broad network of partnerships in the UK, US, France, and offshore jurisdictions.
We were asked to design the new V&R Law Firm branding and website. The end goal was to highlight the firm’s premium-quality niche legal services and enhance its strong international presence.
For the brand logo, we went with a minimal typographic approach. We depicted the two initial letters of the brand name with a heavy geometric display typeface that makes a strong first impression and adds a timeless quality to the brand image. The logotype’s strict look and feel was our template for designing the firm’s stationery and other printed materials (envelopes, letterheads, etc.).
Next, we created the V&R Law Firm website with a fresh and tailored design approach. We steered clear of the styles and cliches of a traditional law firm’s visuals to achieve a modern, bold online presence that speaks directly to the V&R’s international niche audience.
To do that, we used unconventional geometry, modern font pairings, and a muted color palette. The final touch was the use of architectural photography that connotes the firm’s two fundamental principles, Vision and Reliability.
